CPU150 healthcare fabric is a textile solution for a serious design challenge: how to make a cushioning surface that supports without increasing interface pressures. CPU150 is a stretch and recovery fabric. It stretches to conform to the shape of the object it is supporting and recovers to the original condition and shape when the object is removed, greatly reducing the potential for “hammocking” and the reduction in product life. Our highly successful CPU line of stretchable fabrics is now extended into a heavier weight product (CPU-150 ULTRA) specifically designed for low air loss, static air and foam systems for mattresses, wheelchair cushions and positioners. The product is a result of our continuing research into the specialized markets for mattress replacement systems and seating products that are sold into the acute and long-term healthcare markets. Our product is specially designed to help reduce interface pressure in conjunction with today’s latest state-of-the-art designs to help prevent decubitus ulcers. The product is moisture resistant, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and breathable – meaning moisture vapor can pass through the fabric making the patient more comfortable with less heat build-up.
This product is a textured, flexible vinyl designed for use in mattress and wheelchair cushion applications where a high degree of non-skid performance is desired.
PGN 71 is a 70-denier nylon taffeta with a PVC (vinyl) coating. This product is designed for applications where an economical, anti-microbial, fluidproof healthcare ticking is required.
This 70-denier nylon with butyl rubber coating is the most widely used fabric of its kind in the healthcare market. It is ideal for support surfaces where Low Vapor Transmission is essential for infection control. This product is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and soft and flexible. RNN 71 FR will not crack like vinyl.
RIN 27 is the 210-denier nylon version of RNN 71 FR. This heavier version is designed for rigorous use applications where Low Vapor Transmission for infection control is desired.
